Today comes into effect the Federal Law No. 35-FZ dated 12.03.2014 “On Amendments to Parts One, Two and Four of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation and Certain Legislative Act of the Russian Federation”.
The Law substantively changes the scope of protection of Utility Models, Industrial Designs, the registration procedure thereof, as well as of the Trademarks. Some important changes relate to various IP agreements.
