In 2014, Margarita graduated cum laude from the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO), Faculty of Opto-Information Systems and Technologies, with a degree in Optotechnics.

After continuing her studies, in 2016 Margarita received a Master's degree with honors in the same field.

In parallel with her studies, she took part in research work at the university department. There she also gained her first work experience in the IP field.

She has been working in the agency of patent attorneys “Liapunov & Reznichenko” since 2016.

The range of competencies includes intellectual property consulting, drafting and prosecuting of applications, patent search, drafting and registration of IP contracts.
