On April 5, 2024, the Intellectual Property Court upheld a decision to fine an importer for unauthorized use of a trademark similar to "Adidas". Customs accused the company of importing sneakers with four slanted stripes resembling Adidas' three-stripe mark. The court agreed that such similarity could mislead consumers, causing them to associate the products with the well-known brand.
