Examination Highway for Applications Filed by Small Technological Companies

Rospatent has launched a program for priority examination of applications for inventions and utility models filed by small technological companies (STC).
Priority examination of applications for inventions and utility models will be carried out without paying an additional fee on the basis of a petition filed by the applicant that is recorded on the Register of STCs.
Under the priority examination, the first Office Action on the merits (a request or a decision) can be expected within 2 months from the date of granting the petition – for invention, and within 1 month – for utility models.
