In 2000, WIPO Member States designated April 26, the day of the entry into force of the WIPO Convention in 1970, as International IP Day in an effort to promote broad public awareness of IP. Since then, World Intellectual Property Day has served as a unique opportunity to pay tribute to inventors and authors around the world for their contributions and to reflect on the importance of IP for the flourishing of music and other arts, as well as the technical innovations that shape our world.
Congratulations, colleagues!
