WIPO's DAS on EAPO-ONLINE

From April 16, 2024, it becomes possible to type an access code to a previous application for an industrial design in the WIPO Digital Access Service to priority documents (WIPO DAS) on the EAPO-ONLINE system.
Let us recall that WIPO DAS is a tool that significantly facilitates the exchange of priority documents between patent offices and allows applicants not to waste efforts on certifying and mailing paper copies of applications from one office to another. The EAPO has previously joined WIPO DAS with respect to invention applications.
The accession of Rospatent to WIPO DAS is expected in the near future, and until then, in cases established by law, it is required to submit a certified copy of the priority application on paper.
