Changes in the Examination of Inventions and Utility Models

Effective from May 25, 2024, the Order of the Ministry of Economic Development dated March 15, 2024, No. 148, introduces amendments to the regulatory documents concerning the examination of inventions and utility models. Most of the changes aim to provide a clearer definition of technical solutions in the IT field, the specifics of drafting applications for these solutions, and their examination by Rospatent experts.
