Kazakhstan Increased Official Fees

Following the recent amendment of the Tax Code and IP-related legislation, the official fees in Kazakhstan have been revised, effective on January 1, 2026.

In particular:

• All official fees are subject to a 4% increase, reflecting the VAT hike;
• New trademark fees are introduced, namely:
  • each designation of goods/services exceeding 10 designations within one Nice Class is now subject to an additional fee (about USD 4-6);
  • accelerated examination fees (see our announcement).
