EAPO Expands Program for Search and Preliminary Examination of Inventions

Two scientific and educational institutions have joined the pilot program of advanced information search and preliminary examination of application for inventions, approved in 2023:
- "Lomonosov Moscow State Universitynamed after N. P.Ogaryov" and
- "Samara State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia".
The program provides for the possibility of third-party search and preliminary examination of applications for inventions by accredited specialized institutions at the request of the applicant or at the initiative of the EAPO, in order to improve the quality of granted patents.
