Federal Law No. 46-FZ of March 8, 2022 particularly concerns special economic measures in connection with so-called “unfriendly actions” (literal translation of the term used in the document) by the the foreign states and international organizations that have joined them relating to the imposition of sanctions on Russian individuals and Russian companies.
In relation to intellectual property, the associated part Federal Law No. 46-FZ reads as follows:
“Article 18.
1. To establish that in 2022 the Government of the Russian Federation has an authority of decisions providing for:

13) The list of goods (groups of goods) in respect of which the provisions of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation concerning the protection of exclusive rights to the results of intellectual activity, expressed in such goods, and means of identification with which such goods are marked, cannot be applied”.
